circular camera movements interiorize the sky
until the air itself feels claustrophobic
you can’t film my sociability
a camera waits for her arrival
she is in front of the mirror, but the other woman is in the mirror
from the recesses of a reaction shot
she reverses through a doorway
her eyes give the viewer the only clue to the spatial relations within the scene
as they both look into the mirror—I mean the camera—they suddenly realize, we look the same
